Message	similar problem. After replacing the injectors and installing a new chip to drive them, the engine would not start. I observed spark but could not hear the fuel pump. Then the spark went away. The ECU gave the error message of a bad igniter chip. Chased that goose for a while. In addition, the ConZult ceased to communicate with the ECU. I assumed a bad ECU and dusted and old one I was saving for a rainy day. It started the car right away. Then I transferred chips and the car started with computer I had assumed was bad. Moral of the story, turned out to be an imprpperly burned chip.
